I'm not sure about the link between PCOS, but my aunt and uncle have never wanted children. She is 40 and had tried for years and years to get her tubes tied. She had a bilateral mastectomy not long ago and finally quit pursuing it at that time, but no one would do it for her-and she tried for probably 20 years! I'm not sure why doctors are so reluctant. They tend to not listen to their patients though-frustrating!
