Hello. My heart was warmed by the wonderful stories of TRUE LOVE . There are wonderful loving men out there. I know I married one. Before he came along I dated a few other men that were not so nice and understanding about the symptoms. I was 19 when the hair on my grew at a much more rapid rate. I was dating a guy that one day looked at my neck and did a double take see a few stray hairs (God if he could see me now). The next evening I was out with him and his friend and him were making really hurtful comments...needless to say very soon after we broke up. At 20 I met my now husband of 7 years. He is a wonderful loving caring man. He knew that I had some kind of hormonal disorder-we speculated pcos long b4 diagnosis, and he went right on loving me. I used to hide in the bathroom for hours removing the hair, one night he walked in and I was devestated- I cried, he told me how beautiful I was and how much he loved me. We spent 4 years trying to conceive a child and I thought- yep this is what will make him leave- no, he became my biggest supporter- he held my hand through EVERY invasive procedure, every needle poke- and told me how proud he was of me for being so strong and determained. Now aftrer 7 yrs of marriage and one beautiful child, I come back to the appearance issue and he reminds me of why he married me- "no matter what you look like, you are always you- you always will have the greatest love in your heart and that spark in your eye." Getting past your own feelings about your appearance is much more difficult. When you are ok with yourself I think that is when someone else will be! I truly believe in my heart that you will find a wonderful supportive man like a lot of us have, just be you- who can resist that? Good Luck and bless you!At Tue, 1 Jul 2003, anonymous wrote: >
