Good men do exist! I met my fiancee a year before I was diagnosed and he has put up with my hot flashes, mood swings, excessive hair, and being overweight. Once we found out that I had PCOS, he has been nothing but supportive. He is a football player (with VERY HIGH metabolism, ugh!) so he put me on his weight loss program and I have lost 40lbs. He sprays the hair removal cream on my back for me (lol). My hot flashes have just about stopped with the weight loss but when I did have them, he would always turn on the air or the fan for me. He makes sure I take my metformin. We are actively TTC so he keeps up on all the ovulation monitoring and everything. Moral of the story: not all men are shallow, some really do love you just the way you are.
