I have no idea if the original writer will ever see this or if anyone else will see it that needs to. I have PCOS and one of my most disturbing symptoms is excessive sweating. I was struck by the other writer's relations of her experience. It is exactly as my own. I take a shower and my hair might be totally wet after I blow it dry. At some social functions, I am pouring sweat and no one else is. I feel cool on the outside and like a furnace on the inside. This makes me very anxious, which makes me sweat more. I have actually gone upstairs at a friend's party and found her blow dryer to dry my hair. It was that or leave, as a totally wet head makes me VERY humiliated. I am 35 years old. My other major sx include anxiety, food cravings, hair on my chin and above my lip, thinning hair on the top of my head, mood swings, some forgetfulness and insulin resistence. I have to say that I was off glucophage for about 1 1/2 years and I am hopeful that being back on it will help me. I am researching the best diet for this problem and hope that getting on a proper diet will also help. I hope someone who reads this will know they are not crazy or gross or alone. Good luck and good health to all of you.
