This is what I would do... I would call my doctor and tell him the problem and ask him if it would be possible to prescribe regular straight 500 mg. glucophage. I would cut the pill in half and just take 250 mg. for awhile. Or... you did not say WHEN you are taking the XR. At dinner or breakfast? If you are taking it at breakfast, switch to dinner, and see if you feel better. Hope this helps. :)
