Yes, testosterone can be the real problem for some with PCOS. It is for me. My high levels of testosterone is how I got diagnosed. And the reason for that is b/c of the fact that I had taken testosterone shots when I was a baby.

There are many possibilities for what causes PCOS. For some it's testosterone, others IR, others something else that we probably don't know about. And of course genetics is yet another for some.
