Hi jennifer,
I dont know if you are trying to concieve or not. If you arent,
spironolactone has worked wonders for me. What it does is lower your
testosterone levels, which in turn, keeps the beard from growing. It
should stop that hair in its tracks, as well improve the hair on top of
your head if you have that problem too. If you are lucky like me, it
can even reverse what is already growing there, though not everyone gets
that effect. But and I want to re-emphasise this: you cannot allow
yourself to become pregnant. Devastating birth defects to both boys and
girls genitalia can occur. Most doctors will not even Rx spiro w/o the
woman being on birth control pills, or, like me had a tubal ligation.
But beyond that, it perfectly safe to take if you testosterone levels
are high.
