I also have PCOS without insulin resistance. I'm glad to know there are other people like me--I keep reading things about PCOS, and they all talk about these insulin problems I don't have, but I guess I am not the only one. Right now I am taking Ortho-Evra, the birth control patch. It is really easy, much more convenient than taking a pill, but it seems to be making me tired, so I'm not sure what I will be doing in the future. As for weight loss, I have lost about 22 pounds by working out at the gym almost every day. I guess it works because I don't have the insulin problems. Which makes me feel lucky, because I love carbs and could not imagine going on a low carb diet, especially since I am a vegetarian.
