The only problem I had with that was some mood swings. My dr then moved me to Ovcon 50. My mood swings got worse, I gained weight (about 10-15 lbs) and my sex drive went away completely (this bothered my husband more than me...lol..)I was on it for 3 months to see if any of the symptoms would improve, but they didnt. The dr then changed me to Yasmin. I am going to start that one tomorrow. (I am also on Glucophage XR, 500 mg a day to help the PCOS symptoms). I think my symptoms were the total opposite though. I very rarely have any periods and have been told that I do not ovulate. When I do get them they are 7 day, super heavy, and awful cramps. The Ovcon 50 gave me 2 day periods that were very very light. I just couldnt take the side effects. Next message: anonymous: "switched to progesterone and feel pregnant!!"
