I am one of the no periods at all chicks but I know several girls that post here that are like you. Understanding that PCOS is a enocrine problem, not a reproductive one is the key to why I have (I should say had) no periods while you cant get them stopped. Our bodies can react differently to the high insulin levels in our blood. This is same reason why not everyone gets every symptom. If you havent been to an endocrinologist in a few years, I highly suggest trying again. When I was first Dx in 1995 I was told there was nothing they could do for me because I had had a pulmonary embolism from BCPs, which was at that time was how they treated PCOS, then known as stien-levanthal syndrome. I went along getting fewer and fewer periods, gaining more weight and feeling miserable until last year when, by accident I saw the just out of school physician assistant of my family doctor. She, being up to date on current treatments for PCOS, immediately ordered blood tests and put me on metformin. Well, 40 and 12 normal, regular periods in a row have gone by the wayside. I have more energy and feel better than I have in years.
