I took spiro for a few years and found that it takes a few months to see a difference- my hair grew back. As far as hair falling out, you should see it taper off quicker than that unless there is another reason it is falling out like hypothyroid. I had to increase my dose a couple of times. It also stopped the hair from growing in places it shouldnt be growing, like my face. Hope that helps!
