I feel you girl. I had the hardest time losing weight at first. I cut
down on my food intake and exercised heavily and nothing worked or I
would just lose like 5 lbs or something. The Glucophage/metformin
helped me tremendously. The medication, exercise, and a moderate to low
carb diet helped me to lose 40 lbs. I am trying to lose more for my
wedding next May (yea!)and the weight is still coming off. PCOS is a
bitch for sure but there are ways to get back to your normal life
somewhat. Take care girl and good luck.

I also work out at the gym at least five nights a week lifting weights and doing cardio and play tennis several times a week.

He is very knowledgable about treatments of PCOS, but when I told him my weight problems, he looked at me sarcasticly, and said "you and I both know if I had to slide your food under that door, you would lose weight. People do starve to death. I personally rode my bike all summer and only lost five lbs." He basicly told me to stop overeating. I was very depressed. He doesnt believe a word I said, I could see it in his eyes.
