Re: Metformin & PregnancyFrom: Tracy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 26 Jun 2003 06:13:36 -0700 (PDT)
My OBGYN recommened staying on Met for only the first trimester to avoid a M/C. Then possible you may need to start on insulin. I'm still trying to get pregnant. My first cycle after being dx and being on Met, I got pregnant but I m/c very early. Now with the help of Follistim, etc and including Met I am 12 weeks pregnant. My question is, how long should one stay on Met during pregnancy and is it safe etc. Thanks, Marcie *~*~*~*~ Edd 1/9/04
