People taking offense...From: Leigh (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 25 Jun 2003 22:14:39 -0500
Sorry, had to put my two cents in..lol I too, have been offended at a few people's attitudes on here the past few days. But I love this list, and get so much out of it. Here's what I am thinking. Constructive criticism is ok, but if someone is telling their own personal experience at the request of someone else, then no one has the right to correct them. If they're wanting specific information on something, and you know your facts, then fine, butt in and share. But don't try to correct someone on their personal experience. You don't live their life, they do. Each of us has our own experiences with this syndrome, and the meds we take. We shouldn't have to feel that we will be critiqued for telling our experiences. So, if you THINK that you know everything, make sure you can back it up with facts, and respect people's experiences and feelings.
