Anon,

It might affect your period if the UTI is going on at the same time that you are having you are having your period.

April, burning, frequent urination, and pain can be symptoms of a UTI. The only way to determine if you have one though is to have the dr do a dipstick of your urine and also send it off for culture. Oh, before I forget, yes sometimes bleeding can be a symptom of UTI too.
