Your story sounds similar to mine. Here's what worked for me: vitex and
progesterone cream. I low-carbed for awhile and lost about 15 pounds
which probably helped, but just low-carbing did not bring back my
periods. I was not very overweight to begin with. I take vitex every
day and use progesterone cream during days 14-28 of my cycle. After
about 3 months of this, I started having periods every 28 days, and
according to my charts, I'm ovulating as well. This is from someone who
never had a period in her life unless it was induced by medications.
Good luck!
