Hi rebecca
I am guessing that you are taking spironolactone. I have been on it for
a year now and couldnt be happier with the results. I had used rogaine
for about 15 years with fair results, but the spiro has really made a
huge difference in my hair. THere can be side effects. chiefly, you
should not get pregnant while on spiro. Devastating birth defects of
obscuring sexual organs can occur if you are on spiro and become
pregnant. ALso, because it is a diuretic, it can cause electrolyte
imbalances. This isnt too common, but you do need to be aware of it.
Off hand I cant think of anything else, though I know this info should
be in the materials you got with your spiro.
