Just diagnosed with cystic ovaries... what to do? I was just diagnosed with polycystic ovaries via an ultrasound. My doctor was very nice, but did not give me as much information as I would've liked. In addition to the cysts, my periods are irregular (they happen too frequently, like twice a month, or for an extended period of time), i have excessive hair growth, and aggravated acne. Will I need to have the cysts removed surgically, or will medication help?
