Re: Mood SwingsFrom: Alyssa (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 17 Jun 2003 21:57:35 -0500 (CDT)
I guess I would have to say I do-if it is actually related. I haven't been to my new endo yet, so I haven't' started on any meds. I have an insulin of 116 so my OB will not treat me. Today is an extremely bad day for me, and I saw your post and had to respond. My PCP put me on Paxil a couple of years ago because I have "depression/anxiety". I have "mood swings" I guess but more on a daily basis. I get SOOOO tired. TOday I cannot even function. I am probably not even making any sense in this post! I work at home and usually it takes me 4-6 hours to get done; today I worked for 10 and still didn't get everything done. I cannot shower, I cannot cook supper, I can hardly function at all. If I am on Paxil and this is not working, then do I really have depression? I don't think not! I mean my head pounds, I can't stay awake. That makes me mad and I get angry with my husband and snap at him. So, to make a long story short, yes. I am very moody. I have been completely misdiagnosed for the past (at least) 2 years. Waiting for my doctor's appointment has got to be the most frustrating part of all of this. I have to say-when someone finally finds out what is wrong with you-WHY THE WAIT?!!!!! I feel like the past 6 weeks have been a complete waste of my life and I still have 2-1/2 weeks to go. I will make it, but IT SUCKS! (Sorry-can you tell I'm having a bad day?!)
