I was taking Paxil before I wsas diagnosed with PCOS. I really think it has to do with the high testosterone levels that most of us with PCOS have. My dr. told me that with the Avandamet to control blood sugar that this would also lower the testosterone levels. I am also now on birth control and have had my first period in 3 months. I have only just started the Avandamet about 3 weeks ago and last week at work was horrible. Today is the first day I felt like a normal person again. I guess it just takes time. Good luck!
