Re: Just diagnosed with Pcos (please help)- dr's respond but any advice helpfulFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netTue, 17 Jun 2003 22:53:10 +0000
You can still get pregnant! I'm proof - I have PCOS and have been ttc for 8 yrs. I got preg in Oct '02 and miscarried in Dec '02 - I was not on Progesterone & was taken off met when I got preg. However I'm now 6wks pregnant again and I'm taking Met and Progesterone for the first trimester. So, don't give up hope, the trick is a good doctor who can find the right formula that works for you. For me it was 850mg Met 2x daily, clomid for 5 days and artifical insemination. I'm very hopeful that this time will be successful! Good Luck!
