Heather, it is very common for those of us with PCOS to have trouble losing weight, regardless of what we eat and exercise. Cutting out carbs was a good first step and you might find that the med's (Met/Gluc) help you to lose weight. And remember, it does not happen over night so give it some time. If you don't get the comfort you need from this doctor, you might want to consider looking for another. Good luck.
