Help with fruits and veggiesFrom: Anomaly (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 8 Jun 2003 12:37:22 -0500 (CDT)
Are there certain fruits that are worse for people with PCOS to eat than other fruits? Like my doc said that things like berries are best, and that I should try not eating too many bananas, but does anyone have like a "good" and "bad" (things to avoid more) list? Also, I use to LOVE veggies and eat them all the time, but now it seems like ALL veggies make me nauseated no matter what I do to them. Does anyone have this problem and/or ideas on how to fix it? I feel really unhealthy when I don't eat many veggies, but I'm having trouble choking them down. Ugh, and I'm really depressed about this whole stupid weight issue. Like I exercise constantly and don't eat that much that I should be gaining (or not losing) and no matter what I'm still fat fat FAT! It's so unfair :( Like i've been going on my treadmill for over 3 hours a day, and doing crunches and lifting weights, too, and it's so frustrating! And I like NEVER get hungry anymore--and of course I eat, cuz, well, I love food--but it's almost like my body is trying to tell me not to eat at all! And it's so hard to gage how much to eat because i'm used to listening to my body/hunger level for that, but I can't now. Okay, sorry for rambling, i'm just frustrated and needed to vent. Thanks for listening, chicas ;) ciao
