Hi there, I was wondering if anyone here has been put on the atkins diet because of the carbohydrate problem that pcos suffers seem to have. If you have; does it work? I know that initially it works for weight loss, but does it work in terms of insulin resistence etc. Does metformin help with weighloss at all, or does it just stop you from gaining extra weight? Also my other question is about Hair loss. I've lost maybe 50% of the hair on my head. Is there a way to get this back? I'm so devistated an discouraged by all this. I don't want to end up bald.
