I agree it sounds like you are IR and that glucophage may help. Gulcophage has helped me at least not gain weight, and I find that if I watch carbs (white sugar, pastas, bread) while on the gulcophage, I lose weight and it also makes adjusting the gulcophage easier (less side effects).
