I too have long cycles, usually 35 days. I don't ovulate on my own, usually
have to have met, clomid and HCG shots to induce ovulation. OPK's never worked
for me because I don't ovulate without meds and monitoring by sono. Even on
clomid my cycles were longer than 28 days and I'd usually ovulate on day 15 -
17. I was preg in Oct '02, however miscarried - HOWEVER I'm not 5wks preg again
& am hopeful this time I'll be succesful - so it can work. I'd suggest you find
a Reproductive Specialist (RE) and don't waste too much time trying on your own
(I wasted 8 yrs).
Good Luck!
