Help! How do you find a doctor who will treat PCOS?

I was diagnosed with "borderline" PCOS a little over a year ago and started on progesterone cream, then moved to Lo-Estrin and told to lose weight throughout it all. Now I feel four times worse than I ever have and my doctor just keeps throwing more progesterone into the mix. I'm insulin resistant and have high estrogen levels, 2 week long periods, weight gain, extremely cystic breasts plus other classic symptoms and have probably had PCOS all my life.

I have been going to a GP and wonder what type of physicians most commonly specialize in this type of condition. I know I need to lose weight but before I can do that successfully I have to get some additional help. Right now I just want to eat my refrigerator in frustration and irritability! I'm not trying to become pregnant, I just want to feel better so I can live my life. I am in the Denver, CO area if anyone has specific suggestions.

Thanks for any information.
