Hi Anomaly, Since starting met i have eaten more than I used to not because I want to, but i know that its important to have breakfast as a metabolic starter. I used to not eat all day long and have only supper. NOw because of met I try to eat 3 times a day and hae lost 40 pounds. I have lowered my carbs (not atkins low). THe big change is the kind of carbs that I do eat. I dont deny myself pasta, or rice, but now it's bigger salad, smaller sgetti and its whole wheat. Made a huge difference in my energy levels. I try as often as i can to stay away from refined carbs such as white grains, juices, and of course sugar and pop.

Its funny that you mention that you wont look at the scale. I didnt for 3 months until my next dr appointment. Its such a downer to stare at that thing all the time. And, I might add that your clothes getting bigger is far more pleasing than any numbers on a scale.
