Re: Question about weightloss on MetforminFrom: Jennifer (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 30 May 2003 10:33:27 -0400
I know it must be guilt. But I hope it works for us. Lunch I can handle but its the breakfast that kills me. Maybe it was just today. My meds are making me very sick today for some reason I can't stay out of the bathroom and I feel nauseous. I hope it goes away. Hey do you take your temps every morning. Do you have any tricks? I can't seem to get the hang of it. Maybe it is because my alarm is on the other side of the room and I have to get up to turn it off. But I always forget to do it. Anything can help? -----Original Message----- From: anonymous@obgyn.net [mailto:anonymous@obgyn.net Behalf Of Leigh Ann Sent: Friday, May 30, 2003 10:24 AM To: Multiple recipients of list PCOS Subject: Re: Question about weightloss on Metformin That is how I am too, don't get hungry at breakfast time. I was in the habit of skipping breakfast and lunch most days. I would eat dinner at night and sometimes had no appetite then either. And I didn't over eat at dinner, I'd stick to my diet, with a piece of grilled meat and some steamed veggies. I still didn't lose. I am making myself eat something for breakfast and lunch now, especially breakfast. But it just feels "wrong" to eat when I don't feel hungry. I guess it's the guilt I feel about my weight that makes me feel "guilty" when I do eat. Heck if I know....
