My doctor is the one that put me on Dr Atkins specifically... I don't think he would hurt me in any way.. That is why I praise it so much..besides my weightloss. The strict part of the diet is only in the first two weeks. After that you add regular food back into your diet. I am eating berries with sugar and cream right now... I eat ham and cheese sandwiches... I just buy reduced carb bread at wal-mart.

I want to lose weight so bad right now but I'm having a lot of health problems and I don't want to do anything to jeopardize myself. I wanted to commend you for the weight loss that is excellent. I also, have another question I'm thinking about going ahead and started the diet anyway and I've heard that you have to eat eggs every morning for breakfast and I'm very allergic to them and wanted to know if you could supstitute that for anything else???? I've tried everything to lose weight and I recently have lost over 170lbs but that was due to having a severe car wreck and not being able to eat and having no appetite. I've always just eaten one meal a day and that's dinner so it's not that I'm overeating I just can't lose the weight and I just got diagnosed with PCOS in April and started Metformin then.
