HI Linda IT's so funy that you posted this. I was just talking about this with someone else about 5 mins ago. Same thing happened to me. Though not an expert at all when it came to PCOS, my GP thought it was the nursing. Actually it could be from both the PCOS and the breastfeeding. He gave me provera to get me reset. If its not that big of a prob for you I wouldnt suggest that. IT will dry up your milk instantly. If I had known that, I would have just lived with the spotting for a while. My son was almost 2 when I did this and regretted it big time. He still "nursed" for another year but there was next to nothing coming out and the only reason I continued was for comforting him.

BTW so happy to hear about another person that didnt cut their child off at 12 months. It's only in the west where that seems to be the norm. Other parts of the world no one thinks twice about children nursing up to 4 years old. I had people bugging me all the time with "when was I gonna stop that" YOu'll know when the time is right for you. DOnt't let anyone push you into to it too soon.
