In my personal experience, losing weight did stop some of the symptoms.
I would have less hair growth, less acne and my cycle would regulate,
although I was not getting pregnant. This was before I knew I had PCOS
so I was not being treated for it. Before Met though it was a huge
struggle to take the weight off, I would practically starve myself and
because I couldn't do that for long, I was never able to keep it up and
the weight would come back within a year.
