Induced MenstrationFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netTue, 27 May 2003 20:32:21 EDT
I have been taking Provera to have a period. I only take it for the first 10 days of the month, every 3 months, so that I will only have 4 periods a year. I have depression too. When I take the Provera, I get severely depressed and I cut myself because I feel so terrible. I went to see a specialist, and she gave me Prometrium to take in place of the Provera. It's just like Provera, only it's more natural. Well, I took it like I did the Provera, and I thought I was starting my period, but I didn't. The first day I start my period, it's really slow because it's just starting, but this time, it never turned into a period. I mean, there was like no blood. There wasn't even enough to fill one pad, and then it completely stopped. I've never had anything like this happen. Anyone know what could be up? Amy
