What's making my body not respond?

The frustration continues to build. The more I read and try to understand PCOS the more questions I have. Since being diagnosed 3 1/2 months ago, I have been on Met XR for 3 months(1500mg.), Yasmin for 2 months, and have been low carbing, with no results. The last 10 days I have been on the Atkins Induction which I read so many have had success with and have lost nothing(I'm eating under 900 calories a day). My fasting insulin test came back a 4, which my RE says, matter of factly, I am not Insulin resistant. I gained 10-15 lbs.by the time I was diagnosed and it won't budge. I'm exercising in the morning and running in the evening. What is going on in my body that it won't respond? Can anyone tell me? Does testosterone levels effect weight? I'm seeing a new endo who has ordered a testosterone test. Does the fact that I'm not severely overweight affect Met working? Any answers would be greatly appreciated.
