HOWEVER, met is not the miracle weightloss drug that some doctors and patients want to believe it is. It is only an aid to weightloss, by regulating insulin levels by which normalizting cravings.....u should be dieting (low carbing) and exercising in addition to taking the met. Taking met is not a license to eat whatever u want. Also, the fact that u went out drinking suggests to me that perhaps u are not taking this as seriously as u should..it is an absolute no-no to drink alcohol while taking met, not only for the possible adverse reactions between the 2, but also alcohol is not considered low-carb by any stretch of the imagination.
