I think your dose is still spread out evenly though - 2 doses of 1000mg each at opposite ends of the day. Metformin works best this way. But regardless, I agree with what you're saying - everyone does need to find what works for them. If you can only remember to take your pills if you take them "lopsided" (like 2 at breakfast 1 at dinner for example) then that is what works for you to be getting the medication in!
