I take 2500 mg of Met a day (regular not XR) and I take 1 w/ breakfast,
2 w/ lunch, and 2 with dinner. I find I have less side effects when I
take them with main meals and space them out by about 6 hours. Good
Luck.

I have ovulated the past two months and have had regular 28 day cycles since starting the meds. (I hadn't had a period in almost a year prior) I think you have to do what works for you, and take it according to what your MD says. Everybody is different.
