Re: Raising Glucophage dosage...questionFrom: Becky (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 20 May 2003 16:10:23 -0400
I took 2 at breakfast and one with dinner. However, believe it our not, I don't take mine with a meal. I have never gotten sick doing it this way, and it seems to still be working. Do whatever works for you. -----Original Message----- From: Tracy [mailto:anonymous@obgyn.net Sent: Tuesday, May 20, 2003 4:07 PM To: Multiple recipients of list PCOS Subject: Raising Glucophage dosage...question Hi all. I am currently on 1000mg of metformin per day and take one tablet each with breakfast and dinner. Starting Saturday, I'm supposed to up my dose again to 1500mg per day (i.e., 3 tablets)...here's my question: for those of you that have done this before, did you take 2 tablets at dinner, 2 tablets at breakfast, or one each at breakfast, lunch, and dinner? Thanks in advance for your advice!
