I take mine when I eat. One dose with each of my 3 main meals. My meals are not spaced out perfectly either. Bfast 9, Lunch 1, Dinner 6 or 7. But my thoughts are that when I eat, my pancreas produces insulin at out of control levels, so if I take my dosage when I eat, it helps control the insulin, and I feel fine all day. I don't take any when I snack in between main meals.
