I am not a medical professional, but I have experienced this. If it is the same thing that I had it is referred to as a "Bart's Cyst" or Bartholin's cyst. Talk to your OB/GYN about this. There are ways to get rid of it, sometimes nothing needs to be done. I had mine surgically removed. In all honesty - it hurt (very painful for a few days). I also have PCOS, but no, I do not believe that one has anything to do with the other. Hope this helped. Angie
