Thanks for the reply's! :-) I do not think my insurance will cover it (Aetna). They have never covered one before. My friend went to one of the top Lap-band surgeons in Mexico to have hers done. I am checking into this option. She has a bariatric doctor locally - that monitors her and does any adjustments she may need - for a reasonable cost. My husband is Spanish - so he is going to make contact with a couple of doctors in Mexico that do the procedure. They are very experienced in the field and have done thousands of the procedures for over 10 years. I'm just checking into it - but I like what I see so far. I'll keep you posted. Lisa
