Hey all,
I wanted to get Lap Band done so very bad. I have BC/BS, they denied me
Gastric is covered, but Lap Band is experimental, and not covered with
insurance. I mean its FDA approved for 2 years now. I showed my
insurance pros and cons for both and they still denied me. I showed
them that this would be better for me and insurance in the long run. At
this weight I will have more medical/health problems as I get older. I
appealed like 5 different times. The told me to practically give up.
They would not cover it. They may in the future, but not sure when. So
until then, I gotta stay FAT. I have been working out at a gym for
almost 4 months, eating right. Dieting everything I can. I have lost
like 5 inches and lost no weight. So I will be like this forever. But
for those that their insurance will cover it, GO FOR IT. DO it for all
the ones that can’t-ME. God bless!!!!
