She started her period at 9years old. From the beginng she has had irregular periods she skips 3 t0 4 months at a time. Excessive facial hair. mooooood swings. I spoke to her pedatrician ,Endocronoligst her neurologist. They tell me shes young don't worry. Her cycle has to regulate it self. So I took her to the GYN she didn't say anything about PCOS. but recommended Birth control. Due to a diffrent conditiion the pedtrican recommened for her not to take it. My daughter also has Psuedo Tumor Cerebral and hypothyroidism. My daughter is going for a study for the psuedo tumor. what we found out is some people who have pseudo tumor also have PCOS. So now her doctors are willing to take her missed periods seriously now. So she finally will be tested. If you don't mind me asking I was wondering does any on else here have Psuedo Tumor Cererbral (PTC). Thanks for letting me vent.
