Re: PCOS-Clearplan ferility monitor-Said I ovulated, can this be true?From: Angela (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 30 Apr 2003 08:52:03 -0500 (CDT)
My doctor tells me that if I ovulate which he thinks that I do on occasion since I have a regular period that my ovulation isn't regular. In other words, I have Luteal phase defect - ovulating really late and low progesterone. But yet I still ovulate - so you can certainly ovulate with PCOS and metformin is suppose to help you become more regular. My doctor did tell me though that ovulation tests were not true indicators of ovulation - that the BBT was more acurate. Because the ovulation test can tell if your body is about to ovulate but doesn't actually know if you released an egg. But don't lose hope that you did ovulate - I believe my body signs more than I believe the tests most of the time.
