Sweetie, I too suffered some mental and emotional difficulties for the 2
years I was trying to overcome my pcos problems. Best thing to do in
that case is read some good self-help books to get you through. In the
meantime, you must tell yourself YES. YES you must eat properly. YES
you must take your medications. YES you must exercise regularly and
properly. And YES this dedication to your health and wellbeing will
help you heal. It is true that slacking off on pcos treatment can lead
to many more serious problems in later years, especially after age 40.
Just keep telling yourself you can do and you won't die from it. It's a
matter of changing your lifestyle to something new. Think of it as new
challenge and one day you will realize you got there. There is no easy
answer. Just do it.
