You mentioned a self tanning spray as well, they have booths that you can go to where it sprays your whole body and it comes out evenly. It also works really well at covering up blemishes and stuff. its like $30 for two sprays but one lasts for like 2-4 weeks, i know i feel better when i'm tan, even if my body isn't perfect so it may be worth a try :)

I had a hell of a time finding a dress...all i had to do was pick one out in a dark blue...i couldnt find one in a size 18 that didnt make me feel like a sausage..I finally found some in JC Penny's in the dark blue that looked decent on me. But it was July, so I had to wear spaghetti straps. Everyone was going to be at that wedding that I used to hang around with when i was skinny...And i knew what tehy were all thinking..("woah, she blew up! what ahppened to her!!) blah blah anyways, what i did, since i was sooo self conscious, is i bought a sheer wrap that matched the color of the dress! it was big enough to cover my fat arms and ! !

I got married in Nov. and some of my girls were bigger than others. they came to me and told me how they felt self conscious about this or that, and i told them that no matter what, they are beautiful. but if they felt that way, to go out and buy a wrap that matches the dress, and that was fine. I hope all works out for you.... GOOD LUCK!
