You do have one altertantive that you could try. I called my insurance company and asked about coverage before I got the prescription (of course mine does not cover it either). They told me that there is an appeal process where the doctor writes a letter stating that it is medically necessary. I would think that the doctor could state the medical condition and the mental anguish in the letter. I don't know if this will work, but it's worth a shot. > >-- >Melissa >
-- we have blue cross blue sheild, they just denied clam for viagra for my husband who is 36 years old, i applied for an appeal, they told me no, it is a life style drug and is never covered. i think that is a bunch of bull. my husband has a medical problem that causes is disfunction, and they told me viagra is not medically necessary, when my physician says it is!
