PCOS and the long term effect...

I have been wondering the past few days if a woman who does not control her PCOS with meds and the right diet can suffer consequences in the long run like death or something else horrible? I have panic disorder as well as PCOS and I constantly worry about dying form this dang syndrome! I take zoloft but in the back of my mind I still have the thought that I am gonna die from PCOS. Am I acting crazy and should erase the thought out of my head and just go on with life the way I have been? I am on 500mg of gluc and am seeing about starting clomid, I see the dietician at the end of May to get me on the right kind of diet for PCOS. I am trying to do the right thing to control my symptoms and control PCOS as best as I can but it is so hard, I have no will power when it comes to eating the right thing. I am so grateful for any one who responds to this nonsense. Thank you.
