Anna,

I am not quite sure about the medical side to all of this, but endo. told me that high testosterone and DHEA levels cause your body to drop other hormone levels (one article said estrogen) and cause LH surges that cause an immature follicle to be released, obviously raising chances of m/c. The info out about high levels and m/c is very sparse and hard to figure out, but for some reason, Metformin does seem to lower chance of pregnancy loss to even less than the average woman. I have some links to articles, not specifically for test. level, but for m/c and explains the MANY reasons they think PCOS raises risk for M/C. I am seeing new OBGYN who specializes in PCOS on Wednesday, will let you all know if he can shed any new light to this.
