If you are concerned that you might have PCOS - I would certainly have
your doctor check you out. Because, I do have normal periods - have
never had one that was abnormal - so when I was going through
infertility, constant pelvic pain, weight gain, low progesterone, excess
hair, etc, no one thought to check for PCOS - since i had a normal
period. Then I had a laproscopy for endo and my doctor looked at my
ovaries and said there was not doubt that I had PCOS. So of coursee
then I had all the tests and sure enough I did. I had never even heard
of it until then and I'm so thankful that I had the surgery or I
probably would have gone on never being diagnosed just because my
periods are normal. So it never hurts to ask!
